PostgreSQL
NoSQL (Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL) Here's why: Supports SQL-like queries via the SQL API. Supports geo-replication across multiple Azure regions. While it's a NoSQL database, it allows you to store and access data in a structured, relational-like format using documents and collections. Optimized for low-latency global access, which is ideal for aggregating sales data from multiple countries. Why Not: Apache Cassandra - No support for SQL queries; uses CQL (Cassandra Query Language). PostgreSQL - Supports SQL and relational data, but Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL does not support geo-replication in the same way as Cosmos DB for NoSQL. MongoDB - Uses a different query language and lacks native support for SQL queries.
