Option A. All Medical Data should be classified as Private.
I chose A initially but after reviewing everyone's responses, i understand why the answer is C. anyone else struggle with data classifications?? I don't know why these mesh together in my mind. Any advice on how I could differentiate easier?
Patient data in a hospital setting typically falls under the category of sensitive data. Sensitive data classifications are used to indicate information that requires a higher level of protection due to its confidentiality, integrity, and/or availability concerns. Patient data, including medical records, diagnoses, treatments, and personal information, is considered sensitive and should be treated as such to ensure compliance with privacy regulations like HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) in the United States or similar regulations in other countries.
