Hosting the database on Amazon Aurora MySQL Serverless v2 allows them to use a strongly relational database model. Since the original application communicates asynchronously by using Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ), Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS) can be used for an alternative solution.
