During an Agile transformation pilot, communication should be tailored to different audiences while staying true to Agile principles (transparency, simplicity, and minimizing unnecessary meetings). Kanban board (information radiator) → Provides real-time, transparent visibility to the Product Owner and the Project Team. This is the preferred way in Agile for day-to-day work tracking. Weekly reports to the PMO → Gives the PMO (governance/oversight body) the summary information they need without burdening the team or turning the pilot into traditional status reporting. This combination respects Agile values while satisfying the PMO’s need for oversight during the transition.
