* Answer: B. Remove the LineItems[Description] columna. * Explanation: The visuals don’t use Description. Removing high-cardinality text columns is one of the best ways to shrink dataset size without affecting analysis. * Why not the others: - A. Not good. This would denormalize the model, duplicating supplier data across 1B rows. That would increase dataset size, not reduce it. - C. Not correct. The visuals require all-time supplier usage and spend by supplier location. Filtering to only last month would break those visuals. - D. Not correct. This aggregation would collapse line-level detail into invoice-level totals. That would break the supplier usage analysis (since you’d lose the supplier granularity tied to each line item).
I was wondering why option C was not also valid answer.... thanks Koalakueh for clarifying it to me!!! LineItems[Invoice Date] is explicitely used to filter third visual but it's implicit in the first visual as we need to report the entire history for each supplier usage, not just the last month and removing all rows dated older than last month would remove part of this history
I agree, we can safely remove the Description because it is not used in the final report
