The correct answer is: C. Customer notification ✅ Explanation: An escalation about extended downtime suggests that stakeholders were not adequately informed about the delay, leading to dissatisfaction or issues. Customer notification refers to how and when customers or users are informed about scheduled downtimes or changes. Adding Customer notification as an issue in the issue log highlights a communication gap that needs to be addressed to avoid similar problems in the future
From the outlook of this question, there seem to be an initial notification with an expected downtime duration. The extension of this downtime duration was the cause of the escalation which would have been averted if a rollback plan was in place. It clearly shows rollback plan was missing. In a perfect world, if things don't go as planned and announced in customer notification for a release, then it should be rolled back, re-planned and fresh notification with a new downtime duration sent.
Customer notification. It appears the notification that was initially sent did not satisfy the executive and he needed additional information, hinting that it needs to be changed / updated to prevent the executive reaching out during downtime.
