FortiGate allows an unused SD-WAN member to be deleted directly from the GUI. Because the member is not referenced by health checks or SD-WAN rules, no dependent configuration needs to be changed before removal. User-defined SD-WAN zones are not required to retain two members, so the deletion succeeds without an error or automatic reassignment to the default zone.
