Alert1 correct Alert5 :not change status For resolved issue there is no option to change status on MS Purview portal
1. can change Status to Investigating, Resolved, or Dismissed. 2. can change Status to Dismissed, Investigating, or Active. The alerts being shown are from Purview. When an alert is created, its status is Active. As you review the details of each alert, you can update its status to any of the states listed below: Active: default state of the alert until its status is changed Investigating: alert is under investigation Resolved: the alert doesn't require further investigation or follow-up Dismissed: the alert isn't relevant or doesn't need investigation https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/purview/compliance-manager-alert-policies#viewing-and-managing-alerts
On my side,(In purview alerts) I tested with 2 different Alerts, but after changing their state to "resolved". I wouldn't be able to roll back to DISMISS or INVESTIGATING. Only INVESTIGATING and ACTIVE status can be change and DISMISS and RESOLVED status cannot be changed. So I confirm that the given answers are correct.
