- Locust uses Python scripts and a master/worker architecture for distributing load across machines. JMeter also supports distributed mode (master + slaves) but uses Java + JMX. NeoLoad and BlazeMeter are commercial offerings (BlazeMeter actually executes JMeter scripts in the cloud).
