Historically, this limit for many of these "large object" (LOB) types was 16 MB (compressed). However, Snowflake has increased these limits in recent updates (BCR Bundles). Current (or recently increased) limits for individual column values: 128 MB for VARCHAR, VARIANT, ARRAY, and OBJECT. 64 MB for BINARY, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOMETRY.
