Developing key performance indicators (KPIs) of information security is the most effective approach for determining whether the program supports the strategy.
KPIs measure performance, but a program can perform efficiently while pursuing objectives that do not support the strategy.
I don't this KPIs are there to independently just efficient operations. I think KPIs must definitely be ones that consider the strategy and perform accordingly.
