So. YNN For the first one, i create this environment: Rg1 in the east US Vnet1 in the east US Address space 10.0.0.0/16 RG2 in italy North 'SameAddressSpace' in the Italy North Address Space 10.0.0.0/16 I tried to move vnet1 to RG2 -- the validation gave me ok and when i confirm the move, it moved to RG2. So it's a Y! The second one is N! The subnet has only 251 ip address available. You should create a larger subnet/another subnet to accomplish the 300 vm. The last one is N! I tried to create a new virtual network with the same name and i got "There is already a virtual network with the name 'SameAdressSpace' in the current resource group." ( i had already a vnet with the name "SameAdressSpace" ( Sorry for the typo :D ))

This question like many others are so poorly worded. For example expanding or adding a new subnet will allow 300 vms
Y: Yes, you can move a VNet to a different resource group even if another VNet with the same IP address range exists in that target resource group. The IP address range overlap is not an issue unless the VNets are peered or need to communicate with each other. N: East Us has Vnet1 and Subnet1-1 which has /24 subnet mask, 256 hosts - 5 azure reserved = 251 hosts Y: All Azure resources have a name. The name must be unique within a scope, that may vary for each resource type. For example, the name of a virtual network must be unique within a resource group, but can be duplicated within a subscription or Azure region. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-network/virtual-network-vnet-plan-design-arm
