no, i think even with RA-GZRS , we still need multi writes, which is only an option in Cosmos
Given Answer A is correct However it is very unclear requirement i.e. NO where in the data requirements specifies that write and read are required instantaneously (Sync repl or multi-writes) by other App instances and hence B and C are either correct since Async replication is NOT rejected in the requirements and if you have to chose between B or C then B due to its more advance features and capability I guess it is A because only of the multi-writes (Multi-Master) as for Global/regional presence - B and C provide that too
Agree. The requirements are: Each instance will write data to a data store in the same availability zone as the instance. Data written by any App1 instance must be visible to all App1 instances. [My point exactly] I believe this is misleading / wrongly stated: There is no way that I am aware to pin app service to the availability zone of any storage service in Azure. You can however, pin to the same region with Cosmos DB: How to configure multi-region writes in Azure Cosmos DB | Microsoft Learn Otherwise, you could just use storage account with geo-redundancy enabled to satisfy the requirement.
