SAS provide a granular access to storage resources to other clients without exposing your primary account access keys.
SAS grants time-limited, scoped access to specific storage resources using a signed URL — no identity required, anyone with the URL can use it. Conditional Access enforces identity-based access controls on Entra ID sign-ins, requiring authentication before granting access to apps or services. Gotcha: SAS and Conditional Access operate at completely different layers and are not alternatives — SAS secures storage data access, Conditional Access secures authentication to Azure AD-integrated applications. You can (and should) use both: Conditional Access to control who can reach your app, SAS to control what that app's users can do with specific blobs.
Sas will provide you start and end dates and sas tokens can be generated with exipration time
