Sorry this is the worst question I have ever seen. It's asking what action SHOULD be taken. What should be taken is switchport mode trunk should be entered on both sides. But if we are using DTP, one side should be desireable and the other should be auto. If one side is hard trunk then the other should be hard trunk. Yes I get desireable and auto both work, but the question asked what should be done.
Why even discus DTP. It is a horrible security vulnerability
