port which is getting superior bpdu's become root port, indicating the best link goes up to the root bridge
Can the last part be re-worded to "from a bridge" instead of "on a bridge"? All ports on a root bridge are designated ports. It sends normal traffic in and out of its ports, but when it comes to BPDUs, it only sends out.
It "receives" mean a BPDU came from the RB thus it would be a Root Port.
