D. channels 1, 6, and 11 Explanation: In the 2.4 GHz frequency band, channels 1, 6, and 11 are the only non-overlapping channels in the United States that are commonly used for Wi-Fi networks. These channels are spaced far enough apart that their signals do not interfere with one another, providing optimal performance for wireless networks operating in the 2.4 GHz spectrum. Why not the other options? A. channels 1, 6, 11, and 14: Channel 14 is not permitted for Wi-Fi use in the United States. B. channels 2, 7, 9, and 11: These channels overlap with each other and are not considered non-overlapping. C. channels 2, 7, and 11: Channels 2 and 7 overlap with other channels, leading to interference. Correct answer: D. Channels 1, 6, and 11 are the standard non-overlapping channels used in the 2.4 GHz band in the United States.
ch14 was only used in Japan. the question is asking in US.
Why is A not also correct as 14 is also a non-overlapping channel ? Or do we just stick with 1, 6, 11 ?
