  The Daily Scrum is for the Developers. The Scrum Master is not required to attend but must ensure the event happens and is effective

  This is one annoying question. The question isn't about whether Scrum master have to or does not have to be present at the Daily scrum. To which C would sound like a great answer. The question though implies that Scrum master is attending Daily scrum (or at least is planning to attend) and asks for a reason why would he do so. To which D (kind of) seems like a decent choice. Yet everywhere I see this question it's always C.
