- When a tester supplies source material (requirements, a user story, an API spec) and asks GenAI to generate test cases, the output is 'faithful' or 'grounded' if it is supported by that material rather than fabricated. Faithfulness/groundedness is a key reliability check the tester applies to GenAI output before trusting it — distinct from whether the requirement itself is correct in the real world (factuality). Evaluating and refining reliable LLM output is an explicit CT-GenAI topic.
