Goal: Increase storage capacity for a subset of users within the sales OU without affecting others or adding unnecessary complexity. A: No. Creating a sub-OU works but requires directory restructuring and additional admin overhead—more disruptive than necessary. B: No. Shared Drives have their own storage management and ownership rules; this doesn't directly expand individual storage limits. C: No. Raising the entire sales OU's limit to 100 GB gives excessive storage to all users, not just the subset. D: Yes. Create a configuration group for those sales representatives and set its storage limit to 100 GB. Configuration groups override OU settings and apply policies selectively, achieving the goal with minimal disruption. https://support.google.com/a/answer/12002975 https://support.google.com/a/answer/12033430
A is the correct answer, creating a sub organisational unit is way more easier and tracable than creating a gorup and serve the same purpose. Also we dont need to recreate the substructure for a sub-OU, its inheritated from the parent OU
Option A is more complex: moving users to a sub-OU involves reorganizing existing structure and adds complexity to the organizational structure. Option C gets it done, but is adds more users then just the select subset. Option D is the correct answer.
